Round 1: Etim is aggressive to start. The Brit shoots for the takedown but Barboza defends. Etim stalks with jabs. Etim fakes a punch and shoots. Etim gets close to finishing the takedown but Barboza reverses and they are back to their feet. Barboza lands a big leg kick. Barboza connects on two more leg kicks. Round 2: Etim is comfortable throwing roundhouse kicks but Barboza has the head kick well scouted. Barboza is landing a number of leg kicks and we'll have to see if the damage will take a toll on Etim as the fight progresses. Etim keeps an eye out to check the kicks but he's not blocking half of them. Etim misses on a spinning back kick. Nice right hand by Etim. Etim shoots with 1:38 remaining and he puts Barboza on his back. However, Barboza explodes back up. That's gotta be frustrating. MMA Fighting scores the close second round 10-9 in favor of Barboza.

Round 3: Barboza's crisp kickboxing is fun to watch. Out of nowhere Barboza lands a spinning wheel kick to the face that sends Etim crashing to the floor stiff like a tree. What a spectacular knockout.

That's your KO of the night right there and an early candidate for knockout of the year.

Manny Pacquiao?s camp not interested in May 5 fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr.

A new chapter in the ongoing saga between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. was written this week when the notion of a May 5 match-up in Las Vegas was teased with ?Money? Mayweather providing the bait, Tweeting a message to Pacquiao challenging him to the bout. However, Pacquiao?s camp isn?t biting, meaning fans will [...]

Dana White not surprised by Floyd Mayweather?s jail time delay

Floyd Mayweather helps the city of Las Vegas make millions during his fight weekends. That was enough to convince a Las Vegas Justice of the Peace to delay Mayweather scheduled jail time.

More than a few observers were shocked by Melissa Saragosa's the change of heart, but not UFC president Dana White.

"Nothing surprises me with boxing anymore. Good for Floyd, he must have some damn good lawyers. 'Let's let this guy fight and make a few million bucks, then we'll have him go to jail.' That's incredible," chuckled White (6:33 mark).

Melissa Saragosa pointed to the proposed May 5th date as the reason she'd push back Mayweather's scheduled arrival until June 1. There's little that the Nevada State Athletic Commission will go along with the judge's decision and license Mayweather for the fight.

"What's strange to me is the Nevada State Athletic Commission wouldn't even let Chael Sonnen coach "The Ultimate Fighter and that guy cleared up all his problems. He didn't have a jail date pending and he wasn't even allowed to coach," White said on ESPN1100/98.9 FM in Las Vegas.

Some of the names being mentioned to face Mayweather are lightweight Robert Guerrero and 21-year-old 154-pounder Saul "Canelo" Alvarez. Both seem like massive mismatched for the 42-0 fighter, considered top two pound-for-pound in the world.

"Hey listen if these guys can keep milking the public for millions and millions of dollars to put on the fights that nobody is asking to see, why wouldn't they?" asked White. "When you stop making money, they'll put on the fights the fans want to see."

On December 21, Mayweather was sentenced to 90-days in jail in connection with a guilty plea to several misdemeanors. Mayweather originally faced multiple felony charges for incident, that involved hair-pulling, punching and arm-twisting, with the mother of three of his children. He also threatened to beat the children, 12, 10 and 8 years old.

Palhares spectacular leg lock finishes Massenzio at UFC 142

Don't let Rousimar Palhares get near you. If he does you're probably going to walk away from the fight with a limp

Palhares flashed brilliance in taking down Mike Massenzio, quickly getting a hold of his leg and finishing things with a heel hook just 63 second into pay-per-view fight No. 3 of night at UFC 142.

Palhares (14-3, 7-2 UFC) has posted five submissions in seven UFC wins. The Brazilian has also had his brushes with controversy. He's held onto several submission finishes even after the referee stopped things. Tonight, he behaved himself.
