TUF 14 weigh-in: Bisping misses weight then curses at MMA fans

If Michael Bisping didn't have the majority of the Las Vegas crowd rooting against him tonight, he does now. He sealed his fate yesterday by snapping at the fans gathered at the Palms during the Season 14 "The Ultimate Fighter" Finale weigh-in.

Bisping missed weight by .25 pounds, argued with officials and then told off the crowd (5:21 mark) when UFC analyst Joe Rogan asked for the fans to give him a little love:

"I could give a [expletive] about [expletive] getting love," Bisping said. "All I care about is smashing this [expletive] head in. [Expletive] you all."

Bisping and Miller face off in the five-round main event of TUF 14. Diego Brandao and Dennis Bermudez both made weight at featheweight. True flyweight John Dodson had no issues at bantamweight and T.J. Dillashaw was right on the money as well.

Jason Miller gasses early, Michael Bisping abuses the TV star to win main event at ?TUF 14 Finale?

Jason Miller gasses early, Michael Bisping abuses the TV star to win main event at ?TUF 14 Finale?

LAS VEGAS - Just based on fighting skills, Michael Bisping is not an easy guy to fight. When you roll in the emotion the Brit seems to draw out of all his opponents, the adrenaline rush has to be managed or else you're in for a long night.

Jason Miller couldn't do so and got walloped in a one-sided fight in the main event of the Season 14 "Ultimate Fighter Finale." Standing, and on the ground, Bisping landed dozens of shots to the body and head of Miller on his way to a finish at the 3:34 mark of the third round.

UFC president Dana White told the cageside media it was one of the most one-sided fights he's ever seen.

"He's a tough guy," Bisping told UFC analyst Joe Rogan. "I knew if I was going to finish him, I had to have a high work rate."

According to FightMetric, Bisping outlanded Miller 150-38. Miller got blasted in the head 125 times.

Jason Miller gasses early, Michael Bisping abuses the TV star to win main event at ?TUF 14 Finale? The 'TUF 14' coaches nearly came to blows several times during the season. Miller got on Bisping's nerves and vice versa. The Brit even snapped during the weigh-in on Friday when he cursed at a booing crowd. Miller has the ability to get under anyone's skin, but he just didn't have the fighting skills in his tool box to compete with Bisping once he exhausted himself with an all-out first round.

Miller (24-9-1, 0-2 UFC) got the fight to the mat in that opening round and did a little damage, but when he couldn't get it down in the next two rounds (0-for-9 on takedown attempts), he took a beating on the feet and was outstruck 123-10.

Bisping's technical boxing is very good. He worked well behind his jab (landed 76-of-112 jabs) and when Miller tried his wild haymakers, the Brit countered with the right. By the end of the fight, Miller had an ugly mouse under his left eye.

The final round was borderline embarrassing for Miller, who's carved out quite a niche in the satellite radio world and on television as the host of MTV's "Bully Beatdown."

In the opening seconds of the round, Miller immediately retreated to the cage where Bisping unloaded 6-8 shots at a time. Miller failed on one last sloppy single-leg takedown and just stayed on the ground.

Bisping (22-3, 12-3 UFC) went into overdrive and pummeled Miller with knees and punches to the side before the American settled on his back. He took more abuse there and then flipped to his knees. Bisping pounded away and the referee had to stop it.

"Yeah, I would say this is one of the most rewarding wins of my career," Bisping said. "I think Jason and I did a great job on 'The Ultimate Fighter.'  It was entertaining, we had a great season, we had great fighting talent on the show. I'm very proud of the show that was put out. There are good guys and bad guys, and people try to peg me as the bad guy. I really don't know what I do to deserve that, but who cares. This was a satisfying victory."

Bisping would like a title shot against UFC middleweight champ Anderson Silva, but admitted with a first round like he turned in tonight he'd have a tough time defeating the pound-for-pound king.

America wants ?Mayhem? Miller to punch Michael Bisping in the face

The fine folks at Ranger Up created a short film expressing a desire that is present in so many proud Americans: the wish to see Michael Bisping punched in the face.

Over the course of this season of "The Ultimate Fighter," Bisping has endeared himself to few people. His "pranks," dislike of Miller's dog, and use of a mole to try to find out inside information on his opponent add on to to tarnish the image of a man who isn't exactly loved in the U.S. as is.

Miller will get the chance to make America happy on Saturday at "The Ultimate Fighter" finale. It's been more than a year since he last fought, with his last bout a submission of Kazushi Sakuraba. Bisping's last fight was a TKO of Jorge Rivera, most remembered for how Bisping spit at Rivera's cornermen after the win. Will Miller take the win, or will the British fighter? Speak your mind in the comments or on Facebook.

Another torn ACL victim, Joe Lauzon talks about the future for GSP

Another torn ACL victim, Joe Lauzon talks about the future for GSPGeorges St-Pierre is on the shelf for a while with a torn ACL. His boss Dana White said it'll be at least 10 months before we see the UFC welterweight champ back in the Octagon. That's a long time and yet with an injury of this nature, it sounds a bit optimistic.

We tracked down Joe Lauzon, who also suffered a torn ACL, to ask him about the timetable for a GSP return and coming back at 100 percent both physically mentally.

"I definitely think I rushed it. Looking back on it," Lauzon told ESPN1100/98.9 FM in Las Vegas. "I was so happy. I felt like i was in good shape. I wish I had waited a little bit longer. I wish I had given it another 2-3 months."

Lauzon tore his ACL in Feb. of 2009 and was back in the cage at UFC 108 on Dec. 2, 2010.

"I definitely did feel sluggish. I didn't have a spring in my step. I couldn't really push off the way i wanted to. We tried to do a three month camp in like three weeks," said Lauzon.

He lost a slugfest against Sam Stout because he couldn't consistently get the Canadian into his realm on the ground. For that reason, Stout thinks St-Pierre should, and will take his time before returning.

"He's gonna wanna be 100 percent. He's not going to rush it. I'm sure he's going to want to get in there as soon as he can, but I'm sure his coaches, his cornermen and everyone else will make him take his time."

There's also a lot more on the line for GSP vs. Lauzon. The champ comes back prematurely and isn't ready to go that could alter his entire career.

As far as rumors that St-Pierre is frustrated to the point where he may be done with fighting, Lauzon says no way.

"We're used to waking up in pain, hobbling around, getting kicked in the legs, rolling an ankle ... you know, pulling a hamstring. Whatever it's going to be, we're pretty used to it. I'm sure this isn't going to deter him at all."

It took a little while, but the explosion is back for Lauzon. Following the loss to Stout, he's won 3-of-4. His last two victories came in the first round in a combined 2:45.
