Silva-Sonnen II, what?s taking so long? Camp Silva doesn?t sound too enthused

Chael Sonnen called the champ out in front 16,000-plus in Houston and millions more watching on pay-per-view. He's insulted his homeland, his character and even his wife. So why isn't Anderson Silva-Sonnen II booked?

Listening to his manager Ed Soares, Camp Silva is either playing minds games or it doesn't want the fight.

"Let's see what the big boss is going to do. My opinion is that he (Sonnen) had his chance and tapped, he should go back to the end of the line. The same thing is true with Vitor Belfort. They're great fighters, but they had their chance," Soares said. "Sonnen would make a big fight, as would Dan Henderson and Georges St-Pierre, but we should recognize that Anderson only has around four fights left in his career."

Soares says it isn't personal with Sonnen, but the champ will determine his own schedule.

"Chael is not the person that's going to determine when [Silva] is going to take the fight. When he's going to take this fight is when his shoulder is completely healed up, and he's ready to start his training camp for the fight," Soares told MMAjunkie on fight night at UFC 136. "It's not because Chael says he wants to fight in February. Who is Chael to determine that? Chael needs to take a number and wait his turn. He got his opportunity, and he tapped. It's not the first time he's tapped, and I guarantee you it won't be the last."

Dana White confirmed that Silva's shoulder bursitis has to take care of before he can book the fight for Super Bowl Saturday weekend in Las Vegas.
