James Toney and Ken Shamrock are supposed to fight sometime in the fall of 2011. The two had a short press conference in Van Nuys, California to announce the fight, but started to get physical a little early.Urijah Faber Wagnney Fabiano Kevin Kimbo Slice Ferguson Paulo Filho
MILWAUKEE -- What happens when a mohawked Brit goes to a baseball game in America? Hooliganism of the worst kind, of course!
OK, not at all. While waiting for his UFC on Versus 5 bout against Chris Lytle, Dan Hardy took in a game at Miller Park. Behind ace Zack Greinke and home runs from Ryan Braund and Prince Fielder, the Brewers easily beat the Pirates. But Hardy saw much more than the game. It's Milwaukee, so there was food and fans and sausage races!

It's a little disappointing that Hardy didn't dance when put on the jumbotron.

UFC fighters Pat Barry and Anthony Pettis also dropped by for some baseball and brats.

As usual, the crowd was fired up for the sausage race. Don't act like you wouldn't be, too.

Hardy talked to and signed autographs for Brewers fans. Don't worry, Hardy fans. Those aren't his empty beer cans. See more pictures from the evening here.
MILWAUKEE -- Chris Lytle happily took requests from the crowd at UFC on Versus 5 open workouts at the Harley Davidson Museum on Friday. Instead of asking Lytle to show off submissions, they asked for him to show off some tumbling. He happily obliged.
He won't likely use a backflip during his fight with Dan Hardy on Sunday, but perhaps this was a warm-up for the post-fight celebration?

MILWAUKEE -- Jacob Volkmann and Edwin Figueroa took early victories at the UFC on Versus 5 card at the Bradley Center on Sunday night.
Volkmann wins decision
Jacob Volkmann took a grappling filled-decision on the second fight of the card, earning 29-28 on all three judges cards.
Castillo set the tone early in the first round with leg kicks, but then Volkmann stopped them with a takedown directly into a tight choke. Somehow, Castillo escaped. They returned to their feet, and Castillo hit Volkmann with a nasty kick to the ribs.
The second round was dominated by wrestling. Volkmann stopped Castillo's takedown attempt, and though Castillo showed flashes of control, Volkmann controlled. Again, he twisted Castillo into a choke, but was unable to finish before the fight ended.
Volkmann's wrestling again dominated the third, as did his inability to apply a proper choke. He finished out the fight in definite control, but at the same time, his lack of finishing power was showcased.
This win marks Volkmann's fourth in a row, while the loss stops a winning streak for Castillo.
Figueroa gets TKO
After a bizarre start to the fight, Edwin Figueroa took over for a TKO.
Early in the first round, Reinhardt motioned for Figueroa to engage, the Texan did that, cracking Reinhardt with a knee and then grabbing him in a guillotine. Reinhardt responded by getting out and taking Figueroa's back, but he was unable to secure a choke. That allowed Figueroa to come back with strong striking and finish the round out in control.
In the second, Figueroa took over, quickly securing full mount. He finished with a bevy of punches, ending the bout just 50 seconds into second round. This is Figueroa's first win in the Octagon, as he lost his UFC debut to Michael McDonald.
Dana White understands the desires of both Jon Fitch and Vitor Belfort to get back in the Octagon for a shot at UFC titles, but he's also got a promotion to run. Joining ESPNRadio1100/98.9 FM's "The MMA Insiders" show on Friday, White said it's a tough to sell Jon Fitch against Georges St-Pierre again. The same goes for Belfort against UFC middleweight champ Anderson Silva.
Belfort doesn't believe that's the case. He wants the title shot and say Silva is afraid of him.
"If he didn't throw that kick, this would've happened to him. He knows that," Belfort said during the UFC 133 postfight press conference. "I would like to fight the winner of [Yushin] Okami and Anderson [at UFC 134]."
White was shocked by Belfort's words.
"Craziest statement ever made. 'Listen, if he didn't knock me out I would've won that fight!' Yeah, okay. Maybe," laughed White (8:25 mark).
That said, White is an admirer of Belfort. He just wants to see more consistency out of the veteran.
"The problem with a guy like Vitor Belfort is he's one of the best in the world [but] Vitor is just inconsistent," White said. "[...] Vitor Belfort needs to get into a consistent game where every fight looks like the Akiyama fight. Even if he goes in against a guy and it's an absolute war, at least Vitor Belfort went in and let his hands go."
Belfort has a lot of work to get done before he gets in there again with Silva.
"Vitor Belfort went in against Anderson Silva and got hit with a front kick and got knocked out in the first 30 seconds of the fight. Who does he gotta to beat and how long's he gotta go before you want to see him fight Anderson Silva again? Maybe a couple of Akiyama type knockouts and maybe we are ready to see him face Anderson again," White said.
