Vitor Belfort has strong feelings on shaving

Vitor Belfort missed out on the chance to fight in front of a home crowd over the weekend, as he had to pull out from his bout with Wanderlei Silva because of an injury. However, he is not going to miss on the chance to tell fellow Brazilians how to shave.

In other Belfort news, the UFC is still hoping for a fight between Belfort and Silva, and they are aiming for an October show in Brazil. However, Belfort doesn't think that fight makes sense and would rather fight Michael Bisping, and then get another shot at the UFC middleweight belt. He's also open to moving to light heavyweight, and he isn't afraid of Jon Jones.

Consider this your daily Vitor Belfort briefing. You are now briefed.

Thanks, Fightlinker.

Georges St-Pierre sees bright future for Dan Hardy despite recent run

Most folks had written UFC welterweight Dan Hardy (24-10) off after dropping a quartet of consecutive contests inside the Octagon, and many still haven?t bought his return to form even in light of a knockout win over Duane Ludwig this past May. However, one person who remains confident in Hardy?s abilities is none other than [...]

Sonnen and Silva as comic book characters

Because there hasn't been enough written about Chael Sonnen and UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva this week, here they are in comic book form.

The UFC is producing a comic book about the two leading up to their fight.Silva, unsurprisingly, resembles Spiderman while Sonnen has elements of Captain America and Wonder Woman. (Before any of you think this is a slam, Wonder Woman is the coolest. If anyone besides Diana of the Themyscira could handle the Lasso of Truth, it's Sonnen.) Check out their Facebook page every day before UFC 148 to read a new panel of the comic.

UFC Offers Fans Unprecedented Opportunity

How would you like to be UFC president Dana White’s (Pictured) best friend for a day? Well, that’s not the unprecedented prize the planet’s premier mixed martial arts organization is giving away, but it’s about as close as a fanboy can get to rubbing elbows with MMA’s big boss without actually being his BFF. The [...]

UFC calls Anderson Silva greatest of all time (VIDEO)

The latest highlight video from the UFC dubs middleweight champion Anderson Silva the greatest of all time. Do you agree?

The UFC has been around for 19 years. In that time, few fighters have been as dominant as Silva. He has the promotion's record for most consecutive title defenses, consecutive wins and has an overall record of 31-4.

Perhaps MMA fans in 75 years will look back and wonder why Silva was called the greatest, or he will be thought of as MMA's equivalent to Honus Wagner or Red Grange.
