Hector Lombard paired with Rousimar Palhares at UFC on FX 6
Two of the most dangerous middleweights on the UFC?s roster have agreed to face off this December 14 in the form of a bout between finishers Hector Lombard and Rousimar Palhares. Together they have combined for 35 stoppages in 45 total wins and will each be hungry to put the other away after stumbles in their most recent outings.
UFC officials have confirmed the UFC on FX 6 fight. The card is set to take place in Sydney, Australia.
The only middleweight champion in Bellator history, Lombard made his UFC debut in July where his twenty-fight winning streak was laid to waste in a closely-contested Split Decision defeat to Tim Boetsch. The loss dropped Lombard?s overall record down to 31-3-1 and was his first since 2006.

Comparably, Palhares is coming off a failed outing against Alan Belcher but had also looked sharp prior to the pairing. The 14-4 ?Toquinho? has beaten the likes of Dan Miller and Jeremy Horn, scoring ten of his victories by way of submission.
